So pure light is white? Or can it only be generated by pure darkness?

Light is vibration of particles in space. Light is an expression of energy. What is the difference between a light bulb and a radio antenna? Nothing. The both emit light, just at different frequency. When light interacts with mass it's frequency is changed. White is the mixture of all the colors in the visible human light spectrum. I understand. But, I'm looking at light at the quantum level. So, it is a little different in my thoughts. Basically, you are describing the reflective/refractive properties of light. What is light before it 'hits' anything? Light is energy. The energy must come from somewhere. All mass is energy. So maybe it is easy to say light is produced from interacting particles... particles in motion. What about virtual particles. Two particles and be pulled from the nothing of space... because energy is everywhere. There is not absolute zero in space. There is always "heat" (light) there.
