Oh my. The second experience sounds awful Sept. Reminds me a bit of the movie I watched last night. It sound like you were in Hell. [ link to www.imdb.com] Generally, if something is occurring in my dream I do not like, I will wake myself up. I feel that may not be an option for you, or you purposely keep yourself there.It was both for awhile. Sometimes, in the beginning, I would not be released. I could not wake up or remove myself from the situation. Then, I was discovering that I must follow them through to the end, or have recurring themes. That was tough, having to go through with them knowing I could just pop out if I wished. But, I knew there was something occurring, some reason why I must follow through to the end. So, I didn't question, I just bucked up and forbid myself from being a pussy and backing down. I asked an 'angel' one time what it was going to take to release myself from having these bad experiences. "Stand your ground," she said, and would say or do nothing more. That tiny little experience changed my life instantly. I think you would resonate with the movie above. It sounds quite similar to what you are describing. I had attempted reading Dante's Inferno some years back but didn't get past the 3 ring. I figured the movie would be disturbing due the theme, but it was more so than I anticipated.
