Two of four Gaelic seasonal festivals: Imbolc and Samhain. it was a lunisolar calendar, attempting to synchronize the solar year and the lunar month. Quoting: Coligny calendarthe months were lunar. Scholars disagree as to whether the start of the month was the new moon or the full moon, or per Pliny and Tacitus perhaps even the First Quarter. the common lunar year contained 354 or 355 days. Two possible suspects at large Thread: Reported Active Shooter - Washington DC - Naval Yard so is the origin of warrior self organized sacrifice Troy: Homer’s Plasma Holocaust Quoting: aether Sep 16, 2013 Part 1 “The Iliad” Quoting: observationThe Trojan War began with the abduction of the tantalizing Helen by the handsome Paris. Our saga begins in the shattered, burning ruins of a once glorious Troy. A Troy devastated by Zeus’s incredible cosmic thunderbolts, flattened by Poseidon’s earthquakes and floods, and burned by Apollo’s heavenly fire and deadly plagues. A Troy that was part of a Mycenaean Age Mediterranean basin that repeatedly suffered relentless war, devastating plague, drought, famine and abandonment. In brief we are to follow in French archaeologist Claude Schaeffer’s pioneering footsteps and reinterpret the ancient Trojan War from an Electric Universe paradigm. Schaeffer’s work confirmed that a series of ancient cataclysmic crises on a continental scale took place three to five thousand years ago. In his examination of numerous Middle Eastern sites, he found violent earthquakes had shaken the entire ancient Middle East, from Troy at the Dardanelles (Turkey), to Russia, Iran and Egypt at least six times! The stratigraphy was stark; separated by up to ten meters of ash! Those civilizations were suddenly terminated. Traffic, commerce, and pursuit of the arts ceased, and populations of all countries were decimated. The survivors became vagrants and pirates with plagues and famine taking their devastating toll! Incredibly dramatic climate change paralleled that event. It has recently been confirmed by Yale’s Harvey Weiss in the “Tell Leilan” project. In one instance he cites three hundred years of drought followed by massive continent wide flooding. Earthquakes, tsunamis, climatic changes and other natural catastrophic agents wreaked havoc on a scale unseen in modern times. They moulded, reshaped and destroyed thriving civilizations. Schaeffer’s famous conclusion was very unfashionable at the time but he has since been totally vindicated: “Those great crises will explain better than before, the historical development of the most ancient civilizations and its mechanism, and they will definitely take out of the hands of man the command of the great historical happenings we thought he possessed.” Yet, he puzzled over the causative agent. What evoked those earthquakes and floods? As puzzling, he observed they were ten times more powerful than any observed in recent times? We will try to solve this mystery. From an historical perspective, Homer’s Iliad describes the highly civilized Mycenaean Greeks with their fabulous Cyclopean cities, flourishing civilization and sophisticated collection of proud ships. They were arrayed against the formidable King Priam with his powerful capitol Troy, dominating what is today’s Turkish entrance to the Bosporus Sea. That strategic headland is the same scene as the First World War’s Gallipoli debacle. In warlike mode, those two kingdoms battled for ten years while around them a huge cosmic battle raged in the heavens. In their fear they pleaded to the battling sky gods for divine intervention, and intervene they did with devastating results. The Greek leader Agamemnon even sacrificed his daughter, Iphigenia, in the belief he could control the feisty heavenly host. The sky gods Ares, Zeus, Apollo, Athena and Aphrodite seemed to take sides with either the Greeks or Trojans in thatIt chaotic celestial drama. In the end Troy was laid waste and abandoned not by warlords but primarily by the forces of nature. More than once Troy was devastated by fire, earthquakes, storms and floods! The Trojan War was but one episode. Quoting Homer from the Iliad: “Zeus lashes the ground.” “A meteor that is discharged from Zeus.” “Zeus bought down high towers and will destroy others.” “Zeus destroyer of cities.” “Zeus sent a flash of lightning amongst the troops.” “Apollo of the deadly plague.” “Apollo – nine days the god’s arrows rained.” “Athena sacker of towns.” “Murderous Ares, butcher of men sacker of towns.”.............................. Anonymous Coward User ID: 46079706 United States 09/16/2013 03:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If one has the courage to leave all regulation to spirit and accepts one's planned path by spirit as a human the notion of sacrifice is redundant This has absolutely nothing to do with beliefs as they also become redundant, in particular when one is not afraid to jump from belief system to belief system (which requires mastering the arts of detachment/shapeshifting/totems) in order to clean out the filth (energy and thought-forms) One must also remain true to the human-self to facilitate 100% true honest expression. We are all hypocrites but levels and magnitudes differ greatly. Current life situations that arise, as well as past-life emotional memories/ancestors memories all link together for the formula to align with the great symphony. Self-sabotage sourced by spirit creates negative stimuli for exactly this reason. Just because the human facilitates this does not mean that the human is deliberately inflicting self-harm. No matter how many times the human attempts to surrender and lay down their weapons they will just get more weapons if there is still work to do as regulated by spirit Having said that, once certain thresholds have been breached the human effectively becomes the scales. Here judgement is falsely labled on the scales when it is simply perception based on merit earned by spirit. Hard thing for many to swallow but it ain't a picnic for the scales either Therefore, the scales can fire away at will knowing that the wind will blow exactly where need be and hollow points land safely on those with sufficient merit who place themselves or land in the firing line. Those who are protected are obviously protected The scales also must wait for retirement as regulated by spirit in order to once again live as a human being very nicly said Not really, I addressed this as memory bias and perturbation of action. As conciousness within encapsulating boundaries matures and fruits it deforms and becomes another container unto itself. As we well know there is only one uncontained force. All else ebbs and flows as it matures with the yeasts and sugars. Here we subsist on the rebalancing fulcrum of tidal flow, seeking the first lesson. Silence. Some have taken the theories of godhead too far. God has no head. Only false Idols. Please think on fields and sum. Why oh lord must I repeat myself. No answer. ;) Hi Dion, I think the problem is communication (unfortunately myself and others have trouble making sense of what you are saying sometimes. I see your wisdom (sometimes because I've sensed/experienced what you say, etc ) but other times I'm lost) and the fact is this thread is so large that few have read all the pages (nor your other threads) and its difficult finding/reading things on some of these devices. (I know we all have language barriers and I know I don't make sense sometimes (or perhaps much of the time) to everyone either. So if you don't (or others) understand what I'm trying to convey than please ask.) Perhaps you can, for the benefit of all, compile your findings in a new thread of yours or expand one of your threads, please? (Please excuse me if you have already as I haven't checked lately.) Thanks in advance Dion. |
