There were no stars, sun or moon in the Worlds Below. Instead, the light seemed to come from within the land itself. Ahead, he could see the outline of a huge lapis lazuli building, a palace or temple under construction. As for beings, strange ghost-like forms could be seen everywhere in all sizes and shapes, fleshless, but mobile and, if he could use the term, seemingly alive. Enki finally turned in the direction of the Voice. A silent figure cloaked and hooded in a shimmering black robe stood in front of him. The figure’s visage was hidden. Tall, slim and very imposing, the Form rendered Enki speechless. Never before had he seen such aura of authority and seriousness

we have not got that far, what we have noticed is the stones emit a shine in daylight (em radiation) which is not explained by "natural" cause thus there is certainty the stones were designed to be so
there is the possibility that the manner of the stones manipulation caused the shine but that seems impossible to be true thus the shine is imposed upon the stone by design
in darkness the stones emits shine when light (em radiation) is upon the stone thus it is likely the stones underground were the lighting (shone) and their degree of shine matches the electromagnetic radiation( signal.information ) within the area the stones are in (room)
