Oh, cool! Sounds perfect. I always said I liked the country and the city too and liked to be near both. The ocean is about an hour or so, west of I-5 which runs though population areas. The the coastline is long and varied with the best beaches on the central coast IMO. Yachats, Newport, Lincoln City are popular places. Along with Astoria. Goonies was filmed there. :) That's not too far. I lived on the east coast and west coast when I was younger not too far from the ocean. I liked them both. I just love the feel of the smokey mountains every time I would travel near them a few times a year.
