Violent, aggressive behavior of individuals of one race that is primarily exercised against individuals of one other specific race indicates that the first race holds the second race accountable for their plight in life.

Blacks who collectively perpetrate random attacks against members of the white race often live in very desperate circumstances themselves and have lived in such circumstancs since birth, many for generations.

Many black family lineages in this country began with the abhorrant practice of human slavery which was an institution in this country for centuries.

Even after the practice of slavery was abolished, black citizens of the U.S. found it much more difficult than other citizens to vote, be valued and accepted in society, gain a good education, earn a fair wage, and live in a decent home. These problems persisted for 100 years after slavery was abolished.

When society finally took formal steps that were supposedly intended to lift disadvantaged citizens including blacks out of poverty and give them a brighter future, the very steps themselves (welfare, medicaid, section 8 rent assistance, food stamps, WIC, head start) were viewed by many in society as unfairly offered and, to make matter worse, these steps simply ended up institutionalizing the multigenerational practice of not working for wages and living just above the poverty line.

These are the circumstances that many in the black community are still faced with today. Generation upon generation upon generation of many people in the black community have been further and further dehumanized through the actions of society around them.

Society is now paying the price of creating and maintaining a permanent subclass, members of whom have very few, if any, avenues to take to better themselves and their lot in life.

Why would such individuals not perpetrate crimes against those who they hold responsible?

They have nothing to lose.

By no means am I suggesting that whites turn the other cheek. When I put myself into the position of grieving white fathers and mothers, my blood boils as well. I can only hope that in their situation, I would not resort to violence and retaliation, but honestly, I think it would be foolish for me to assume that I wouldn't because I have never been in that situation.

Desert Fox, I appreciate your response. I feel that it has been one of the few articulate posts in this thread rampant with fear and hate. I don't know what the solution is, I just know what it isn't. Any student of history can not dispute the fact the a "taking it to the streets" mentality has ever truly worked. I think there needs to be a massive massive shift in the way we human beings see one another. Too often we get stuck in the quicksand of trying to polarize one and other. WE ARE ALL THE SAME. Men from every corner of the world, and of every skin complexion, have acted like savages from the beginning of time. FACT. I'm not sitting here trying to make ANY excuses for my black brothers and sisters. They are lost and dangerous. This much we all know. But until we all realize that their actions are a reflection of a disease that is embedded in our entire society, we will get nowhere.

This whole matter us utterly despicable to me! I am also black, and I totally CONDEMN the actions of these idiots! This is just ridiculous! What type of home training have any of them even had - and I blame the parents, or because I doubt a father was around - the mother. It's too true that the males in my race are always ready to abandon the woman who gives them a child/children, and instead wants a non-black partner. OK - that is totally a different subject, but these felons and roaving gangs of idiots really do need their comeuppance. Instead if using fire power, however, they should really just get some of their own beatings right back! SHAME on them, AND their parent(s) for not even acknowledging the bad actions of their kids. And even if they don't know the wherewithals, SHAME on every black adult who turns their backs on this matter. This is now EVERYONE'S problem, so just shrugging your shoulders and walking away is not the answer to correct this issue.

There is no reason for any of this; we have all moved past the days of slavery, and blacks now have even more freedoms than they ever had before. How DARE they piss on our past great leaders, black AND white alike, who helped to bring the shameful past of slavery to an end, and who opened the doors of opportunity to all blacks who wanted to enter, so they could make a better life for themselves and their families.
