Blue Skies User ID: 19168576 United States 07/19/2012 03:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My blood pressure was 205/98 no matter how much I worked out,or what special diet I was on, I could not lose weight. I also had reoccurring blood clots in both of my lungs. I was on statins, blood thinners, blood pressure pills, and HTPZ, Water pills! I kept getting sicker, and weaker, for almost two years. I got online, and started researching. I stared with "Red man's real salt", drinking down a teaspoon a day or more, with a gallon of water. Then I discovered liquid minerals, and liquid vitamins. I took myself off all the pills! June 6th of this year I found out about coconut oil. Against the wishes of my family. I started eating coconut oil by the tablespoon fulls, like digging in an ice cream bucket with my spoon. I'm down 12 pounds. I just had my blood pressure checked yesterday at the doctors office it was 130/70. you tube Dr Bruce Fife, Joel Wallach, and Dr Leonard Coldwell! These Dr's have saved my life! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20077816 Good for you :) :kitten on fence: |

Quoting: seeker2 Great find. Thanks sk yea, I read Linus Paulings papers, bought his Vitamin C, very expensive. My doctor is always on me to take statins since my cholesterol is over 190, but every kind I take makes my body ache so I stop taking them. Here is something from your old friend whose cardiologist is head of cardiology at the fourth ranked heart hospital in Texas and the number 4 ranked in the nation: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chicken Breast, Sardines, Salmon, Flax Seed, Spinach, Green Beans, Limit Bread, No Potatoes, No cola only water or unsweetened tea, daily vitamin. Limit coffee. Try that for a month and see what happens to your cholesterol and your weight. Eat salads with regular salad dressing. The better taste will encourage you to eat more salad, offsetting the small amount of extra calories in the regular salad dressing. Get a complete night of sleep at least three times a week. Be good to yourself. It will look good on you! 7 Billion people on the planet! That's a BIG number! And I am one. |

So easy to get a jar, add oil (olive oil, coconut oil, or grapeseed oil), add vinegar (red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar), shake and pour! You can add herbs, sea salt, etc but really just the oil and vinegar are great on a salad, especially if you have goodies like olives and blue cheese and cucumbers on the salad, even cold leftover salmon ... they make a perfect dinner especially on warm nights. |

I am a physician in texas and have studied this extensively. Studies show that while statns are better at lowering cholesterol, Omega 3's were better at reducing cardiovascular Dx, therefore it is not the chol that is the damage but the inflammation that is controlled by the omega 3( a COX2inhibitor)....Furthermnore, statins block Hmg CoA reductase so that the body doesnt produce cholesterol...However this also blocks the bodies CoQ10, which is and anti-oxidant among other things. This coq10 would prevent the oxidation of cholesterol in the first place...So Ironically statin drugs are stopping coq10, which stops oxidation of cholesterol!!!(which is bad) Respectfully Submitted |

After he had his degree, he heard a Doc from another country on MPR using his thesis as this Doc own work. My husband reported to the University he went to, who sued the Doc. All Thesis papers are the property of the university, so that school got several Mil in settlement. My husband got nothing. VERY shortly after this, basically a couple months after, he had a stroke, then 9 months later a heart attack in which basically his heart burst. Before this he was the strongest man I knew and healthy as anyone his age could be. He had even had his heart checked the year before and his Doc told him he had the heart of a thirty year old. I have always thought very curious timing. |

Diet Sodas are worse than regular sodas, and the chemicals that break down in your body actually slow weight loss, as they turn into formaldihyde. Cholesterol is bad, but not because there is too much in your body at one time, but in one spot. Since it is inflammed it causes more blockage, correct? And the remedy to this isn't just a "low-fat diet", you need to eat natural foods that aren't abrasive to your body. Correct? "I collapsed a lung, screaming at the face of ignorance. I think it's the saccharin in many diet sodas that breaks down into formaldehyde. Diet Rite Zero is better than the usual diet drinks because it uses Splenda for sweetening. The very best choice is Zevia. It's sweetened with Stevia and doesn't contain phosphoric acid. Hard to find in stores though. I order it off of Amazon. |
