That's quite interesting. However I will point out that it is pretty easy to flip the negative and print the photograph backwards which would reverse the image (showing the ring on his apparent left hand rather than his right). Anyone with a basic knowledge of photography would understand this concept. Without another visual reference (like a scar or something) it is impossible to know if the print is accurate or not.
