could be worse. You could have a 13 year old DAUGHTER who hates you. That lasts a good 5 years.
Whatever your son's deal is he will get over it. Why would you even consider sending him to live with his dad?
Sounds like you are overly attached and was trying to be his friend like others here have suggested.
Be the mom and if you have to grow a pair to do that, then do it.
