her brothers comments are a bit weird, doesnt sound very natural.

This reminds me of those Final Destination movies where someone manages to see a glimpse of an upcoming tragedy and manages to avoid it.

But before the movie is over they will die because Fate had it out for them and they can only avoid death for so long.

Honestly, her brother was just on the local news down here in Florida and he said "It looks like my sister has been fatally wounded." The way he said it, there was absolutely NO emotion in his voice. Almost like it wasn't even his sister.

I don't see any references to "faith" anywhere in this. A woman who survived 9/11 (got out of the towers) died a few years back in the plane that just "fell out of the sky" on an icy night in Buffalo NY. Another coincidence that doesn't mean much.
