SyFy channel sucks now

And get rid of the stupid wrestling (or "rassling" as we used to call it). There are plenty of other channels which have wrestling! And those silly "reality"-type shows like Ghost Hunter which are shot in black-and-white and have "OMG" and pseudo-surprised screams as their main dialogue.

If you're looking for re-runs, how about "The Magician" (starring Bill Bixby), "In Search Of...", or "Ray Bradbury Theater"? Even the old "Buck Rogers" and "Battlestar Galactica" (with Lorne Greene) have more interesting plots than the current shows. "Eureka" started out really good, and then got into the goofy "timeline/parallel universe" theme. If you want to do something "campy", how about "Mystery Science Theatre" where they take old groaner movies and dissect them with smart-ass remarks?

I love the old Ray Bradbury Theater shows. When I was a little kid I used to watch them on USA Network on Saturday afternoon. MST would also be cool. The whole wrestling thing is beyond stupid. I'm not sure whose cock Vince McMahon sucked to get SyFy to run WWE on its channel.

How about Knight Rider (original), The Incredible Hulk series, or even The Six Million Dollar Man?

Why have cable? Its all online free or to be pirated. there are live streams for PPV's like UFC.

A 'crawl' through science fiction history would be fantastic.

Start with that movie with the rocket ship stuck in the moon's eye, Flash Gordon etc, and crawl all the way up to present.

The more interactive they made the experience, the mpore they would see what we like, and want.

For series, they could air eps 1 & 2 as a teaser, or if they did have a pilot ep, that.

I would 110% sit through a marathon of that.

If they were really smart they would get merchandising sorted prior, at least from a planning stage, and supplier stage, and do just in time, or manufacture to order.

Imagine being able to buy original Hulk, 6 Million Dollar Man, Blake's 7, U.F.O. or Shado T-shirts etc?

We're the tards who stay up to 1am in order to watch a show bumped from 9pm slot to 10pm, to 11pm etc. We are sci-fi tragics and a market not really well tapped in to.

I'd like to see SyFy re-broadcast the entire X-Files series. I have a whole new take on Gillian Anderson after seeing how many guys she's lived with in real life and how many kids she's had out-of-wedlock. That's her business, but I'd watch with an entirely new take on "Scully".
As far as the crappy "SyFy Original Production" movies, they probably write off three times what the movie actually cost for tax purposes. You can't do that if you just pay rights to broadcast old serials or the great 50's sci-fi movies.

X-Files should have a permanent time slot on SyFy. So, too, should the original Twilight Zone and the original Outer Limits. Fucking people at SyFy are such idiots that they can't see any further than their own asses.

It's all low budget made for TV crappy programming.

Today is a full day of slasher horror films on SyFy. I'm not sure what slasher horror has to do with science fiction. Tomorrow more of the same. I can't figure out what the programmers at SyFy are thinking but apparently it isn't much. These guys are retarded.

Most of TV is crap now. If you want actual science fiction you have to watch History Channel or Discovery. Hell even Animal Planet had some shit about real live mermaids. WTF? I just flipped through a couple hundred channels and found jack shit to watch.

Watching Saw 3 right now. I guess it's better than some of the other crap they have been showing. It still has nothing to do with science fiction, though. I think I'd rather be watching The Last Starfighter but SyFy hasn't showed that in years.

Did anyone watch the SyFy original remake of The Philadelphia Experiment? More SyFy crap. They even had Michael Pare from the original on it.

Another full day of garbage on SyFy. Sharks are the theme of today's movies. Mutated sharks or sharks crossed with other stupid animals. Who cares! It's all bullshit that no one wants to watch.

Comcast now owns 51% of the channels they bought from nbc universal, including syfy.
