Well, it isn't about going to the movies armed. It's about being prepared to defend yourself in public anywhere. My wife like most ladies doesn't go anywhere without her purse and that is where she keeps her 357. Now, that gun is not a shield and it isn't self guided. It is only an opportunity to try to defend yourself. It is a good habit or preparedness.

I know there are areas where almost no one carries because they don't have the custom or habit anymore, or they have been "brainwashed" like Eric Holder said into believing guns are bad, but that only makes them sitting ducks for the evil criminals who take advantage of that helplessness.
