Well, it isn't about going to the movies armed. It's about being prepared to defend yourself in public anywhere. My wife like most ladies doesn't go anywhere without her purse and that is where she keeps her 357. Now, that gun is not a shield and it isn't self guided. It is only an opportunity to try to defend yourself. It is a good habit or preparedness.

I know there are areas where almost no one carries because they don't have the custom or habit anymore, or they have been "brainwashed" like Eric Holder said into believing guns are bad, but that only makes them sitting ducks for the evil criminals who take advantage of that helplessness.

We need to engineer ways to detect before the fact. Technology almost has us there. People shouldn't have to carry weapons on what is supposed to be a relaxing outing.

I believe Florida still allows its citizens the right,possibly also California,but I can't imagine New Yorkers walking-around "packing handguns."

There are a lot of states that issue carry permits with a simple safety and competence class and a background check to ensure you aren't a felon. States like that include my home state of Tennessee and most of the South Eastern and Mid Western States. There are a few constitution carry states like NH and AZ. The non-free, unconstitutinoal communist wannabe states are places like New York and California. Beyond that there are some cities like Chicago that enforce a virtual ban even though the rest of the state does not.

Bottom line is that most of the US is still very gun friendly. Only the biggest and most progressive liberal states and cities are not free anymore.

Well, that is because this whole psyop hinges on the illusion that it was just another "lone nut gunmen" incident. His "help" was probably his handler. Similar to the suited man that escorted the 'crotch bomber' passed airport security and got him onto the plane.

I did think it was strange the guy was allowed to live after that rampage....I remember a guy in London being chased onto a train and shot/killed a few years ago and he hadn't even done anything wrong...another thing I did consider too , his flat was booby trapped....so why the hell didn't the cops let the shooter go in there....he assembled the booby traps so he could surely , diffuse them......all a bit fishy !!
