Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18758040 My first question was "Hey, weren't there Russians having a training session near there in Denver or something? Maybe the actors are just covering up another attack on America..this time by a Russian 'training session', because you know that's how the war propaganda machine goes these days..if its not on the news it didn't happen and everybody still loves America." But then, I see connections where it takes others a while to get to.... Last Edited by The Loophole on 07/21/2012 08:36 PM Helium. [link to www.youtube.com] |

I mean have you been living under a rock? You really think people have any moral judgment these days, especially where the welfare of the family is concerned? adults have been putting themselves and their needs ahead of others for at least the last sixty years. I am not surprised in the slightest. |

I don't exactly go to midnight premieres of summer blockbuster movies in large, overpopulated areas. Still... many of you are missing the point... NO CHILDREN UNDER 13 SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO STEP FOOT INTO THE THEATER! It's supposed to be a rule or law... or so I heard. Why not just pass out cigarettes and beer to minors too while we're at it. I mean, does ANYONE do their job anymore? Bad Parenting. Bad Theater Management. I hope they enjoyed the results. Biko |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 20246252 07/21/2012 11:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've seen multiple posts on multiple forums, from sites like this, to news sites, to entertainment sites, and yes while this is horribly tragic, many people do ask "what on earth where all those babies/young kids doing at this film, at that time of night". Of course they all get shot down and told not to be so disrespectful and how horrid they are and that's not the point. It's not of course, but it's at least rubbish parenting. I'd wondered about this...then I get up from bed and my bro/mom are discussing it, and you know what was one of the first few things she mentioned? WHAT WERE BABIES AND LITTLE KIDS EVEN DOING THERE! |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 16213727 07/21/2012 11:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tiny babies sleep odd hours. Also, it seems like a breastfead baby would sleep quietly in moms arms during a quieter movie. A movie is a good outing for a beast feeding mom who otherwise won't leave the baby. A dark place to nurse discretely if baby wakes up too. But this movie seems like it would be too loud. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12203402 To me all movies are too F-in loud! Its rare now that I will go to a movie and when I do I bring ear plugs and put them in slightly so to quiet the movie.....LET ME ADD, I grew up with drive-in movies...WE HAD CONTROL OF THE VOLUME ON THE SPEAKER, not so in theaters. If a movie like 'The Help'or a cartoon movie blasts your eardrumbs an action movie sure as shit is going to blast your eardrumbs. Imagine what thats doing to an infants eardrums!...Dear Doctor, my 1 yo needs hearing aids or I don't know why my baby is deaf.... If you're breastfeeding an infant or the infant still has odd sleeping hrs....stay the fuck home for a few more months ya selfesh assholes... |

But, something I have not seen mentioned much, is the very unusual fact... Quoting: Six Six Six WHY WERE THERE SO MANY BABIES AT A MIDNIGHT SHOWING OF A TEENAGE/ADULT MOVIE? I've seen/heard multiple stories of babies being saved and or/killed at the Aurora shooting. WHY WERE THEY THERE? Does anyone use babysitters anymore? Have friends or family to watch over a 4 month old at midnight? Bringing a baby or very young child is not only inconsiderate to the child but to the rest of the audience. Most sheeple don't fully comprehend the meaning and occult symbology behind movies. How can a baby? Why were babies there? For the love of God... WHY? I have already replied to this in 2 other threads, but I have to reply to this one as well, lol. It REALLY bothers me. I think it is just selfishness. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 6289134 07/22/2012 12:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | no but responsibility for another life begins. which means no babysitter = no adult movies. infants/small children shouldn't be exposed to the noise, the violence, the bad vibes, all the damn germs, the list goes on. it is just plain ignorance to take such little regard for a child's physical, and psychological, well being. but here we are - some people are defending this behavior. i've read some of your other posts AF, and you do not seem to be a stupid person. why are you condoning this behavior? |

I take it the parent(s) didn't have work early the next morning either, at a movie that would let out after 2:00am. But, the only one kicking themself now is the mother who took her 6 year old girl to see that movie. She'll have to live with that UN-WISE choice. I really don't want to get too judgemental, but seems to me society as a whole is really in decline. No morals and no common sense. Does not the "warning" PG-13 (parental guidance suggested) absolve those who made the disclaimer, from any liability if something happens? It is displacement of responsibility onto another party. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 17807051 07/22/2012 04:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am guessing the parents may not have any family close by to watch the kids and figured the babies would just sleep through the movie. The parents all seemed quite young so maybe they couldn't afford the cost of movie tickets and a sitter, but still wanted a night at the movies. Truthfully I can't stand being at a movie and parents bring their babies, but as long as the baby sleeps or the parents are considerate enough to take it out if it starts to cry it isn't that big of a deal. A 4 month old doesn't understand what is going on on the screen and won't remember even being there. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12690803 Missing one crucial thing... they WILL sustain eardrum damage. People are so very ignorant of that. I see babies at rock concerts. I mean really, WTF? |

They have night prayers, I don't know. When I was a kid, it was bed time at 8pm. When dad and mom when to see a movie, they had family watch us or got a babysitter. Taking kids under 13 to a late night show is pitifully selfish. |
