The law says you cannot carry a concealed weapon without a permit. As I stated the article leads you to believe there is a total ban on guns. Untrue.

WRONG - read the ordinances. Aurora has a cch ban. Even legally authorized concealed carry holders cannot excercise their privilege within Aurora city limits. Period. Most cc holders are very in tune with the laws and their exceptions.

Misinformation breeds so much more information.

Fact is ONE cc holder in that theatre would have most likely averted the totality of this tragedy although even one life is horrific.

Do you know what you have to go thru to get a cch? Tests and background checks plus citizenship. And yet you're okay with a system that limits cch but underground sales to criminals and non citizens can flourish?

I actually believe cch should be like voting... Everyone over 18 gets one and the privilege and rights get taken away upon a finding of mental health or criminal history. Believe it or not, this would make for a safer world and a reasonable government.

And don't give me the musket bs - our founding fathers were warriors - they knew the drill.
