Oh dear... This is a very inauspicious dismissal! I wonder how many of your ancestors were forced to go a course of these dreaded estuaries for the same reason... I wonder how many of mine (if any at all) may've escaped this fate...

Then again, I'm sure they didn't believe in anything so silly as fate. These are all just stories invented by adults to scare children into behaving properly... Right?

I have already been forced to endure the immense displeasure of living all my own horror stories, and it was only afterwards I realized I'd been living in all the others simultaneously. I have died several times. I am literally undead. I live on an Indian burial ground pet cemetery...

There's no happy endings for the undying. There's no ending whatsoever... Whichever the story, it makes for a poorest resolution.
