KVDR (I believe, or KVRD, too lazy to look it up right now) put the police chief on TV at about 6 a.m. the NIGHT this occurred.

The SECOND he began to speak about reports of A SECOND ACCOMPLICE, KVDR (or KVRD) IMMEDIATELY cut the press conference off.

It's odd for two reasons:

1) KVDR were just guessing up to this point, they had very little info, and finally they got a press conference from the cops and they CUT IT OFF WITHIN ABOUT 25 SECONDS!!!! FOR NO FUCKING REASON. I thought, "What the fuck...I want to hear this!"

2) They cut to another reporter who wasn't ready or prepared with his story and bounced around for about a minute, fumbling.

Completely fucking inept, or planned?

I noticed it immediately. Why would they cut off that press conference so quickly, just as the police chief began to expound on reports of a second accomplice? The reporters were asking the question, and he began to answer, saying they were SEARCHING THE MALL for someone else...
