But some are really cool looking... yet scary looking. There was a Mud geyser too, bubbling hot mud. No, I didn't see any monitoring stuff. I guess they hide that. I was expecting to feel tremors or something, but that didn't happen either. They do have a lake in West Yellowstone called Earthquake Lake. You can see the mountainsides have slid and a lots of the pine trees just lay on the side. There has been several forest fires there. The most recent seems to be in East Yellowstone. |
