Teen faces jail for tweeting names of two boys who sexually assaulted HER (WTF??))

Dietrich was assaulted by the pair after passing out at a party. They later shared photos of the assault with friends.

I don't blame the girl at all, but the judge gave an order.

That doesn't mean she has to follow it, but she does have to be willing to take the punishment for doing it, unless she has the power to make the judge back down.

She'll probably do some time for it.

Not fair? Of course it isn't, but short of the girl developing super powers or hiring a decently large country to have her back, there isn't a lot she can do about it.

So where are the naked photos of her after she got drunk that night. It says those photos got passed around on the internet.

They probably ended up in scrump or ice's inbox...

the judges gag order is unconstitutional.

your right to freedom of speech can not be revoked or suspended period by a judge or anyone.

the two rapists should be swinging from riopes at the gallows.

Not to clobber anyone with reality or unpleasant truths, but a judge can, and often will, use gag orders that are strictly applied and considered just fine by the Supreme Court.

Most of them (but not all) apply either to juries, and they can even keep the people sequestered (hows that for free speech?)or to cases where a minor is involved.

Records can be sealed to protect kids, people aren't allowed to talk about the cases and doing so can lead to a whole lot of problems.

I think it's this one that is getting the young lady in trouble.

So, not so much about free speech.

You actually have a lot of rules that govern what you are allowed to say.
