Gun Control:

Only point a loaded weapon at your intended target.

Never place your finger on the trigger until you are ready to shoot.

Never sweep the barrell past anything that you dont want to shoot.

Any gun you pick up should be considered loaded until checked.

An unloaded gun is a stick.

A gun in the safe is worthless.

LOL! Congratulation for demonstrating your lack of comprehension of basic maths. Go back to school. Twat.

Cant refute the post so attack the person? Ad Hominem much?

What was wrong about my maths? I never said/stated anything in absolutes only implied.

If you want absolutes look up firearms deaths per 100 thousand people per country, that would give you a better reflection of the truth. The stats i used when i quoted stats were based on that.. and as i said, compared to Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK last time i checked) Israel, Bulgaria, Zimbabwe etc have lower firearms deaths per 100,000 people.

Yes England has very low rates of firearms deaths, but Scotland and northern Ireland also apply as part of the UK and bring the average up much higher, so attempting to fudge the issue by splitting up the UK is bullshit, collectively speaking the UK has higher deaths due to firearms than some soviet block countries which is fucking disgraceful but unfortunately the truth.

These four fundamental rules of firearms handling should be drilled into anybody who handles a firearm until they are so sick of hearing them they actually want to shoot you.

You should also never assume somebody is gunsafe without knowing so.

Pretty Ironic...the Leftist Brand thought they might use this disappointing event to punt their political agenda for budget driven commercial tenders - and real Americans thought 'fuck you, if some realist American had his Glock 9mm with him in the theater in this time of Heightened fear by Brand investors, just maybe young misinformed orange haired Joker-boy's rampage would have ended early and surprisingly at the hand of a concerned tax-payer.'

Im also not scared of people with guns unless they are being pointed because im not fucking mard.

If somebody is walking towards me with a gun and they dont have it pointed at me its fairly safe to assume they are doing something such as hunting or pest control so im not about to soil my pants like a pansy simply because somebody has a firearm, its a tool nothing more, just like a chainsaw or an axe or whatever. Can they be used for nefarious purposes yes, are they always used for nefarious purposes, no, not at all.

Guns are not evil, only intentions.

My friends laugh at me for checking even if I've watched them unload it. I just call it redundancy; it's not that I don't trust them, it's just that I want to be 100% sure that it won't be one more of those accidental "unloaded" shootings... if you catch my drift.

The times ive read or heard about stories about people forgetting one is in the chamber and it then going off because of poor trigger discipline etc.

IMO, pistols, pump actions, lever actions and bolt actions should always be cycled a few times even if you have looked down into the receiver and the barrel and it looks clear.

Certain weapons especially certain mag fed pistols and rifles like the mosin nagant sometimes look empty untill you cycle them and realize otherwise.

Because everyone in the audience had been disarmed and all those who obeyed the postings of no guns allowed, were slaughtered by the one person that had the gun.

You guys notice that it is usually Brits that are always saying that.

They were pussies when the time came for them to turn their weapons in, and now they are jealous because we arent going to make the same mistake they did.

No we just don't want our society infested with guns.

I'm far more likely to be murdered in the US than I am here and that's a fact.

More people die at the hands of guns every day in the US than do in an entire year in the UK. Fact.

Nice try, but according to one of your own news outlets, you are more likely to be a victim of violent crime then we are. Your criminals are so happy that you are unable to defend yourself.

The most violent country in Europe: Britain is also worse than South Africa and U.S.

By James Slack
UPDATED: 18:14 EST, 2 July 2009

Britain's violent crime record is worse than any other country in the European union, it has been revealed.

Official crime figures show the UK also has a worse rate for all types of violence than the U.S. and even South Africa - widely considered one of the world's most dangerous countries.

The figures comes on the day new Home Secretary Alan Johnson makes his first major speech on crime, promising to be tough on loutish behaviour.

Honestly, I dont even give a shit how many people in our country get killed from fire-arms. Call me insensitive or whatever, but this is America, and we have the right to bear arms to protect us from tyrannical government.

We will never submit to oppression from a dictator or a monarch. It is that simple.
I dont mean everything I say to be literal. I just like to throw around ideas, and play devil's advocate.

I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.
