What would the headlines read if something happened? if anything happens in the metroplex(DFW) it would be considered Dallas. Also, Beck's event is in several places over the 3.5 days, including the American Airlines Center in DALLAS (yes, dallas city limits) but i did not want to write out every possible scenario. Like you can almost hear the notes being played in Close Encounters . . . I swear, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the stadium for the first time. That it looks like it could just pick up and fly away! At least they'd have the biggest friggen TV on the planet to watch the doom from! lol Well thanks for that breaking news. but it is synonymous with Dallas. i dont think it is the Arlington Cowboys. Like you can almost hear the notes being played in Close Encounters . . . Never really thought about the UFO image. I was going to say it is actually a pretty nice stadium inside. Not that great for games, it is not nearly as loud as you would think...the large glass doors on both sides do not keep the sound in. Never really thought about it, but how much glass would be blown everywhere? They have to open both at the same time or the retractable roof can blow off. I don't think Jerry took in account for the 12th man idea of the fans being loud as hell and drumming out the opposing team. The teams that play in domes DO have a clear advantage when opposition tries to run offense. Metrodome gets ridiculously loud, so does Indy's stadium when everything gets closed up. went to opening vs giants and couldnt believe it was not louder. Seahawks stadium is an outdoor stadium, but paul allen brought in acoustic experts and designed the overhang to redirect the sound back directly to the field. Hence all the false starts. OK, im a Seahawk fan stuck in Big D...if they didnt pick up the flamethowers earlier they are now! OK, back to the Doom now! 2-3 block away is where the Texas Rangers play. They have games against the Boston Red Sox and White Sox during Becks event. So add in another 40,000+ people within a few blocks. MSHARPP and CARVER threat matrix scores are still climbing! No shit, I would've thought they were either sold out for years, or extremely expensive. I'll have to check out air fair for this fall, maybe I can catch a late december game if I can get my funds up. I'll let the Seahawks thing slide, ONLY because they beat us in Romo's debut in the playoffs, and then went onto the Superbowl. I still haven't gotten over that botched hold by Romo, I almost pissed my pants I was so mad that night. -- Archaic Mason 2B1ASK1 "Meet on the level, part on the square."
