please tell me why I should concern myself with a local regional, tribal god concerned only for a tiny portion of humanity, compared to one that concerns itself with the entirety of creation?

Cause many people (think lost tribes and their migration) carry the blood of Abraham today..

so your god plays favourites based on heredity only?

why is that considered divinem when that's a human failing?

In the Hermetic teachings, the ultimate God is God within everything. THE ALL. like the God particle thats been making the news lately. In new age teachings, we are all considered one. ONE LIFE SOURCE. poured into different vessels and will return to source at the end of time.

As for God Yahweh choosing a people. I think it would establish the importance of family and that family is forever..

no, it is a local god of a tribe that you describe, where they are entitled to anything from everyone else and there is no merging into a one.
What you claim is not a god of all, it is a god of our side against all your sides, and demonstrates nothing more universal than greed and entitlement to theft and destruction of outsiders.
It would seem that divine people would do divine things, and so far, I see nothing divine coming from these people, just more demands for tribute of all sorts.
It it's common and human, it cant be divine, by definition
You should actually try to use logical connections, and not simply claim associations where none actually belong or fit.
people, you should really not allow yourself to be bamboozled by ashear volume and amount of bullshyte
Please verify you're human:
