So if Mars has no atmosphere, then how is it the sky in these pictures looks blue?

Well Mars has still a atmosphere not like we have it here.
It consists of 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, and the remainder is trace amounts of oxygen, water vapor, and other gases. Also, it is constantly filled with small particles of dust(mainly iron oxide), which give Mars its reddish hue.
Mars lost his magnetosphere a long time ago (4billion years).

The more interesting number (which I don't have): how many pixels is the Sun in diameter (and what is that for the Pancam)?
