When my son was five and my daughter was born, my sister took him to see the newborns through the viewing glass in the hospital. she said he was very quiet for a few moments before asking her, "Auntie, I see the female babies have pink cards in their bassinets and the males have blue ones, but this baby here doesn't have any card, does that mean its a hermaphrodite?" She just about peed herself relaying this story to us.

My son has always been extremely intelligent and well spoken for his age. He is now19 and I have been constantly astounded by his depth of knowledge on a variety of complex subjects. He is truly an old soul.
