The circular cylinder of the nose hole gets shifted due to the raising of the cheeks, this movement causes the nostrils to oval-ify, hence giving us the illusion of a different nose. Clearly the eye color change shows he has turned into a demon, or perhaps he is using contacts? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2654985 not really the nose is totally different.. when u smile it doesn't change that much.. the one on the right has a smaller bridge and a circular nostril.. the one on the left has a wider bridge and a squared nostril. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20526297 Try this on yourself: In a typical smile, the mouth and upper lip widen. If you put your finger on the tip of your nose, and trace the edge of your nostril back to where the nostril and the cheek meet, you have found the junction between the nose and the cheek. Now keep your finger on that spot, and smile hugely. You'll see that your finger moves out to the side with the cheek skin when you smile. If you smile a smirky smile, with your mouth shut, your finger on that junction spot might not move at all, and if you smile a snarly smile, your finger can move up instead of out to the side. It is taken from a plastic surgeons book on Nose symmetry. This clearly addresses this issue of this epic illusion.
