I spent some time in American schools and let me tell you there was hysteria on this issue from the teachers at all times, it was ridiculous. White man learns from an early age he has to apologize for everything and always feels the pressure to "not be racist" at every turn. While this is done with good intentions, it has a hysterical tone and basically the white man is not allowed to express himself properly. When this happens the discourse is poisoned. This is why the discourse is so ugly on GLP, its a backlash after represessive media and education system, like vomiting up poison after being force-fed. If media and education were a little more rational about race and a little less shrill/hysterical/repressive you'd probably see less of the ugly white racism you see here. The rest that keep posting nonsense can leave the thread if it bothers you so much. I have no reason to say anything bad about any race, I'm past that as you all should be. I'm no longer giving away my energy on defending a certain race, as this is all an illusion anyways. To the poster that stated that there are paid race baiters on here, I actually believe that lol because out of my 3 or 4 years on GLP its never been this bad. I'm done with this current system, I'm no longer voting, advocating for candidates,race,gender etc. I'm done with it all. I look forward to meeting open minded people and leaving the rest behind.
