Yes, the gun control angle is incidental to any shooting in America so it comes with the territory.

Please also note the plot of TDKR dovetails with the notion of computer programs being used as tools against the financial elite.

This is still in the rudimentary stage at this point but here are the takeways:

1) Recurrent mentioning of a "Coming Storm" in TDK, TDKR.
2) LIBOR scandal is fairly well-known amongst the Occupy crowd and those sympathetic to massive banking reform. (thus it is imprudent to simply assassinate the elder Holmes).
3) Banking system is liable to go "Phoenix" on us.
4) This may be the payoff for all the London anticipation - destruction of LIBOR evidence.
5) Re-emergence of the banking system ran by the same Cryptocracy in the new form (possibly Sino-centric?.
6) Thus an 'Inception' ritual for the entire process which seemingly has ripped a hole in space time allowing for all manner of synchronicity to flow in (this is a metaphorical view).

This Holmes definitely did not commit this crime on his own, too disorganized. Where did he learn to rig sophiticated bombs that took the FBI two days to disarm? Why was he sitting passively in the car and tell about the bombs at his apartment? Who was the second person that threw a canister. Who was the guy that took a phone call at the theater and opened the emergency exit door? Where did Holmes get the money to buy all of this equipment? Why did ABC lie about his mother saying that they had the right person? Why is his hair red and not green? Red=Monarch mind control. How did he get accepted a federal grant for a PhD program when he is supposedly insane, schizophrenia is a very congnitive disorganized disease. Way to many questions that need to be answered. Not defending him if he was the shooter, but who is behind this? Why did police say from the beginning that he acted alone? If he was Muslim they would be looking for a cell. ALONE gunman?

FOr all we know Holmes could have been drugged up and dropped off at the theater. Anyone could have done the actual killing. If his father really was testifying in front of a Senate panel on the LIBOR scandal then we know FOR A FACT that James Holmes is simply a patsy.
