I think it was an idiotic move from his lawyer to request no TV cameras being present at his next appearance at court. That'd be his chance to tell the world "those bastards set me up!".

He honestly looked like he didn't have a clue why he was there. I pride myself on being able to "read" people, and I genuinely felt some kind of "sorrow" for this guy. I hated that I felt that way, I wanted him to be guilty..but I honestly saw a guy that was thinking exactly what I saw in the article today, "Why am I here?" Yep. I know we have been over this on other threads, but the sorrow that I feel for this guys is overwhelming and I can't ignore it. I have never felt this way in the past about someone who supposedly killed people. I hate to admit it, but I feel very bad for him too. Never have felt this way before for one of these people. That doesn't mean I condone what he did. I think he acted with evil. But was he controlled? He seems like he could have been easy to manipulate, though his estranged mentor called him stubborn, which would go against that ...Obviously, I don't know the whole story. Maybe he was an arrogant know it all who thought he was better than everybody. But that's not the sense I'm getting ... at least not now. If I know more about him, I may change my mind. Same here. He looks so sad and confused. He just doesn't match with what he is accused of doing. I could be wrong and it be an act but with all the other weird things about the case, I kind of doubt it. Sad for this guy and the victims either way. I just hope the truth comes out and the guilty one are punished whoever it is.
