Yeah, and its scary what people will throw out rather than analysing further.
For instance, so many literal actors being involved (the dead actress, her actor hiring brother,etc) does make it seem like parts were staged, so I wouldn't throw that entire thing out with the bathwater for sure (the gas has its own role too that hasn't been fully considered). Acting isn't just on the stage, sometimes it happens in real life, like the guy that pretends to win at the find the cup with the ball hiding under it game in the city before you (or someone else) goes and gets scammed out of $100 for thinking it looks easy.
