Jails let people sit in heroin withdrawals all the time.

They wont just let you sit there in withdrawals if your habit is bad enough, and you request the medical assistance. They WILL give you subs. Trust me, been there, done that.

It's probably the effect of the "truth" drug, the one the police might have given him so he'll tell them about the booby traps in his place. That is probably how the cops got the info out of him.

Either way, he is incompetent and in NO mental state to be making any court appearances or ANY decisions or statements. Anyone with 2 eyes can see that.

Well in New York and Florida if you go to jail and are withdrawling from opiates you're not even getting an ibuprofen.

You can't die from opiate withdrawals so you're not required treatment.

No withdrawing from opioid drugs is nothing like that...

as i said in another post not in colorado they will just toss you in a cell and if you are in ad seg or on suicide watch they will have a guard walk by once an hour but as far as any meds that have any potential for abuse not on your life you can order asprin off commissary at the arapaho jail but he hasnt been there long enough yet to get commissary but suboxen not a chance no way no how

If you are going to a methadone clinic they will continue your treatment, but not if your just an addict off the street.

Makes the most sense from all I have read. Drug withdrawal will cause the sleepy, looking out of it effect.

You are wrong on so many levels.


First of all, not everyone can come even CLOSE to being stabilized on .2mg of subs. I was on subs for a year, after a $300/day habit. For the first TWO WEEKS, 8mg wasn't even enough. My body was still going through utter HELL, and having been through every opiate there is so many times, I have tried various doses in the past.

For me, I needed 8mg DAILY for about 2 weeks, than I could lower to 6mg daily, and eventually 2mg daily. NOTHING less than 2mg daily would hold me, without me being extremely sick.


The ONLY thing you were right about, is that suboxone doses are OFTEN prescribed higher than needed.....but you weren't even right about that, because you said ALWAYS. THAT IS NOT THE CASE. Some docs/addiction specialists DO know what they are doing, and do it right.


Also, they already said, he wasn't put on ANY medication while in the jail.

I don't know what country/state you live in......but in Georgia, USA , when you go to jail, no matter HOW MUCH DOPE you are addicted to, how BAD it is......opiate withdrawal is almost NEVER life threatening, and therefore you NEVER get put on narcotics (sube is a narcotic as well, yet) while in Jail. They just DON'T do it.

You could be on 100mg of methadone, and you won't get ANYTHING while in jail but maybe bendryl and aleve. You will be put in a special part of the jail, for inmates who need medical attention, or on suicide watch.

All I can say is that he was DEFINITELY DRUGGED, and drugged a LOT, and he couldn't have faked his eyes.
