Could be....there was something influencing this kid, that's for sure in any case...
Maybe we'll get to read his "notebook" which was sent...if it's to be believed by the time we see it, if we do...could be more insight contained in that than anywhere else.
I don't know how much I would believe what is going to come from him now that he's been caught...he is smart enough, maybe not a super genus, but he does have knowledge in the psych field and he may very well "fuck with" peoples heads...who knows what he'll have to say going forward or how true any of it will be.

This woman was head of the mental-health services at the college so it's likely she would have been first contact and whether he made that contact, was sent to her and at what level of "why", we just don't know right now. From what I have heard some people say?...if any student at Holmes' level was on the verge or in process of bombing out of the program...the whole Neuroscience "community" at the school would rally in for intervention and the college itself would do whatever it could to turn the kid around. So going to this psychiatrist may have been part of a more or less standard procedure, it may have been more, but we do not know at this time. True... but that doesn't negate the correlation only weakens the odds some that there is one. Schizophrenia according to what I have read seems to be a specialty of this particular shrink... "Fenton, who has served as mental-health services medical director since 2009, has conducted numerous research projects in the area of schizophrenia."The question would then be whether or not he was regular patient of hers or just had a few sessions ...and if so how far back do these sessions go? Also... what originally brought him to her? "Michael Carrigan, chairman of the University of Colorado regents, said he couldn’t comment on Holmes in particular and said he didn’t know what might have brought him to the attention of the BETA team."Were they alerted by his behavior or a drop in academic performance? or did he seek out help?
