Why is gay marriage even an issue anymore? Of everything today thats facing this country *this* is what we choose to have a national dialog about? Are you fucking serious? I bet the majority of the population would agree that the whole gay marriage thing, isnt really a big deal in the whole grand scheme of things. To me, it falls down to personal freedoms for all. (And govt has stepped way to far into its citizens personal lives when they start levying legislation about what two adults do behind closed doors) So how about all you fair weather stone throwers that put your hands on your hips and play the "morally correct" card when it suits you -- since you care so much about everyones personal freedom -- why dont you contact your local politicians on up the line and make it an issue, get it passed dont take "no" for an answer until the politicians start seeing the light of day. After all why shouldnt the politicians elected reflect what their people want. After that maybe we can move onto REAL stuff like ending the wars, having a fiscally responsible country, and making a better, brighter, more tolerant country for our children. I'd love to see such a national dialog about those things and so much more. But this would require the cyber masses to escape their computer chairs and actually pick up the phone, maybe even go to a rally, cast a vote, or donate some of that money not spent at chic - fil - antigay.. right? People amaze me. Either care about "personal liberty" and "personal freedom" all the time - or not at all. Don't be a fair weather Patriot. Make your politicians work for you. Just another example how mass media whips this country into a frenzy to distract us from real and pressing issues. Such as finally after over a decade ending the war(s). Maybe even securing OUR boarders. I dunno, call me crazy   I bid you good day sirs and madams. What country before ever existed a century & a half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Things that actually matter can't be talked about by the mainstream media because it ruins the agenda, if you catch my drift. i think we all should take a break from the crazy political arguments, the little silly things are not important. Maybe we should be looking at how we are living, what we eat... what we are forced to do such as vaccinate our children, or send them to school for that matter. "school is like a 12 step brainwash camp" nah mean?? NO!!!! (and its been that way for some time) I for one will reserve my right to vote, and i will not vote..again. but many people choose to chastise for this.. my feeling is - give me a candidate that will uphold the oath of office, and is worthy of the american peoples vote (mainly just mine tho) then ill vote!!!
