Adam Weishaupt was born in 6 February 1748 in Ingolstadt Germany. He was a Professor of Canon Law, and founded the Order of Perfectibilists in 1776.

His project was "illumination, enlightening the understanding by the sun of reason, which will dispel the clouds of superstition and of prejudice"
