Re: Pin this for the anti gun crowd! Man with gun stops nut job on a stabbing spree!
There are sooo many ways to kill a person. So how would taking guns and knives away solve anything.
I suppose they could remove all of our arms and legs and we would still try to headbutt someone to death.

sure, but trying killing 12 people in under 2 minutes with a headbutt, hammer, stick, butter knife, napkin, etc.

its intellectually dishonest to pretend all tools are created equally or are meant to be used for the same purpose as the NRA parrots and political lobbyists so frequently do.

How about an axe, sword, kukri, bowie knife?

It is intellectually dishonest to avoid the real issue and pretend it doesn't exist.

The real issue is that disarming people will eventually lead to genocide, sooner or later.

And in the short term leads to a police state without the gloves on.

A low caliber pistol with 10 rounds is WAY different than a full ASSAULT RIFLE with 100 round mag.

The problem is when you face the same issues when you want to get one or another.

Is that so difficult to understant? Seems like the NRA does a good job brainwashing you poor sheeple into allowing them sell anything.

;)..the unfortunate hard truth. We are all violent as seen in a more enlightened world that runs around in the bush or in the sea...

Here is something I found by a little known..

I’ve travelled this road before
into the fading hour,
found a dangerous mind
with its grey eye on me -
he called my name
through sneer stained teeth;
caught me at the willow tree
and stole the dream
hidden under my pillow.

Basically sums us up

Message from big brother:

You all dont jnow what u are doing. Im sure in the constitution it gives u all a right to bear arms, but yall cant control yourselves. Yall just wanna shoot everyone up with it. Therefore we have to come in and take away everything so u can fear big brother and be compliant slaves. All u "little men" vs. us greedy people who literally cant see the world in any other way than a dollar sign.

Peace love and light brothers. Together we are more powerful and extraordinary than we can imagine.

Knives longer than 3 inches belong on battlefields, not on our streets.

Go fuck yourself idiot I could kill you with a fucking stick or my bare hands...the weapon, improvised or other is just the tool used to execute the intent dumbass

I believe the brainwashed sheeple are in your camp. So we can agree to disagree.

An uneducated hand wringer talking about the nominal difference between an SBR (scary black rifle) and a sidearm isn't convincing. Is this so difficult to understand?

Well, it should be said I don't have a problem with reasonable implements of civil defense - including side-arms and rifles.

And I'm not talking about government boogie-men here, in the context of this thread, it's about being able to deter or stop a criminal act - which this guy did with nothing more than a side-arm, and which the old lady did with nothing but a purse.

Yet, the NRA parrots imply that if you can't walk around with high-powered, automatic weapon and enough ammo to take down a football team in a single clip you'll never be safe.

And if you really feel you require head to toe body armour and a semi-automatic rifle (or 4) just to go the movies I think that's pretty sad.

And at the end of the day the NRA is a political front group like any other that doesn't give a damn about regular people as long as the "interests" it represents get to make a killing (financially).

All right we'll throw out the real reason for the 2nd amendment and focus on the thread as you framed it.

No one is suggesting or implying that it is desirable to "walk around with a high powered automatic weapon and enough ammo..................."

That would be insane, you know, like the insane mass murderer in Colorado did.

Probably hundreds of thousands of people in this country have never been much more than an arms length from a rifle or sidearm at almost anytime.

You are saying that they desire to wear armor and carry a rifle to a movie theatre?

To suggest that is insane in itself.

Most of the real gun rights people aren't happy with the NRA. So probably you should switch your "NRA parrots" slur to something else lest it lose its undoubtedly cut to the quick impact.

Yes, such a thing would be insane, about as insane as claiming that there is no fundamental difference between a napkin or a hammer and an ar15 as some were saying (repeatedly and without thought, like parrots)and that was my point.

Of course there is a difference between a hammer and an AR 15, so what? One is a tool for liberty and one is a tool for an unarmed peasant. Which do you want to be?

I hope you understand that an AR 15 isn't an M4. But probably you won't, I've never met a Canadian yet who understands the concept of inherent rights. God love them. They know not what they espouse.
