I wouldn't say I refuse, just that I'm not interested. And I'm sure not going to pay for a cable subscription for that garbage (which still has ads on top of what people already paid... That alone makes no sense to me.)

If it's on at the workplace or a friend's house I don't really mind glancing at it and seeing if TV media has improved at all. I haven't noticed that it has.

I did not watch the royal wedding (I really did not care) and I don't plan to watch the olympics either (same reason) but if friends and coworkers want to blab about that it's fine by me.
