Straight from the bible. Some people actually live by the bible what's wrong with that? To me if your living by the bible, saying gay marriage is ok then saying, lying, cheating, pediphilia, murder is all ok? Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Probably something to do with "Freedom of Religion". Some people do not believe in the bible, and that is their right under the consitution. To each his own.
