Christ is Love

How do you compare the concept of God being your father? A father is aware of their child at all times even when they are not present with them. A father is aware of where his child is and they know of their emotional even mental predispositions, I think you get the picture.....Our earthly fathers did the best they could with there educational and financial resources that they had, small or grand. Hats off to dads everywhere but we all know that we are all human and sometimes we dont measure up to this honor, but we try. God doesn't fail so it is not entirely fair for us to compare our earthly fathers to God the Father. Taking time to learn about your Father is needed for certain for He knows us already but the prerogative is ours to learn about our Father. And there is no better role model for this other than Christ Jesus the Son of God. We find Jesus always drawn away to spend time with His Father in the gospels and putting all His reliance on God the Father. So much so that He gave His own life by the Father for us. Jesus showed us and taught us all about trust and faith in God. Jesus is the only atonement for us and He did much more even teaching trust and faith in God even in the most of dire circumstances. If Christ Jesus had to spend time with His Heavenly Father to know Him so should we. Fasting and sacrifice is not needed. But true knowledge of God will lead one to give of themselves as needed even though it seems to be no burden to them at all. You know why? They know God and reflect His attributes, mirror reflections. Same can be applied to human relations, know the person and not just about the person.

If we are polishing our mirrors to be reflections of the Father then there should be no division on color race or religion even personal lifestyles, plenty of fingers to point to each and every one of us and not just a few. If the Father attributes is not reflecting on us than we are deceived and perhaps to boastful, perhaps. God is Love and Love loves all despite political and religious divisions. There is no division in love. Love is equal to one and to all. Go on brag about how much you know go ahead and brag how great you are in what ever field you want to boast about but do not be deceived you are not reflecting the Fathers attributes. "I and the Father are One" for Jesus reflected the Father in all of His glorious attributes. And if we do the same at least attempt too, we to can say that we are one with the Father and His Son in unity and reflection of the graces of God many they are.

Luke 13; 29 And people will come from all over the world—from east and west, north and south—to take their places in the Kingdom of God. --- Its a focal point of Luke 13:22-30. In other words many will be surprised as to who are saved and who are not. Its an eye opener. To do away with ones own personal doubts of salvation one should operate their life as Jesus did. Being kind and respectful, thats right 'love thy neighbor'! Do this as the Son of Man did and it will be well with you and everyone around you, it will do a lot of good. In many many ways, around around the circuit goes.

The purpose is kindness respect and honor of another which are aspects of what love is. Dont trip over your laws/decrees of what you and others deem righteous, it can in fact be the stumbling stones of what is really true and honorable. Aspects of truth and love, you cant have one with out the other and if you divide them you have a spurious notion and belief of what is love.

An example can be found in Matt 23:23"What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law--justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. ---Its not hard really, to be good and do good to others, simple respect for another.

While busy about your religious requirements(your own perceived theological preferences) you over look the very basics of courtesy and respect one for another and with out prejudice of any kind for truth without love is a lie.

Truth is not selective. Where love is you will find truth, a circuit for sure. You can not divide either one, you cant have one without the other. Either or and none the more nor the less. If you practice the ways of love and Gods grace then you have it hands down. If you dont, you dont. Enjoy your dill and your mint but you cant enjoy if you dont have the 'no more and the no less'. Its either or.

CHrist is God. And yes he loves us. He did make us afterall and the world and he did give lucifer the devil freewill sooo

A reading from the first letter of St Paul to the Corinthians 12:31- 13:8
If I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.

Be ambitious for the higher gifts. And I am going to show you a way that is better than any of them.
If I have all the eloquence of men or of angels, but speak without love, I am simply a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. If I have the gift of prophecy, understanding all the mysteries there~ are, and knowing everything, and if I have faith in all its fullness, to move mountains, but without love, then I am nothing at all. If I give away all that I possess, piece by piece, and if I even let them take my body to burn it, but am without love, it will do me no good whatever.
Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous;
love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offence, and is not resentful.
Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.
Love does not come to an end.

This is the word of the Lord.

Sometimes saying your sorry is just enough to heal a soul, sometimes...Sometimes opening the door for another person which is just a common courtesy, sometimes it is granted an act of kindness . With this act of kindness is a an honor that is given in return, sometimes....Sometimes acknowledging ones love for another is something that is a lovely thing to do and reinforces the confidence of the love you have for that one you expressed it too, sometimes.... With love comes honor respect and mercy(kindness) to all it extends itself too, all the time and not just sometimes.

Listening is a skill, prayer on the other hand is just an articulation of what the heart is already saying in the spirit world(the Kingdom, if you will). Great sports teams win because they listen to the coach at all times during a game. The whole team does it if they are winners. A team needs a captain-thinking of ice hockey as an analogy for this one. We known that Christ Jesus is our captain, if you dont listen to the captain your not a team player nor are you going to gain the victory for the grand prize for which your trying to achieve. The Stanley Cup the holy grail of hockey :) . You must acquire the skill of listening before you can manifest your God given talents on the ice rink. Talent alone without a team does not achieve the goal in hockey. Want to achieve the grand prize of the grand finale? simply fixing our gaze upon Jesus, our Prince Leader in the faith, who will also award us the prize. In my opinion..

Belief, genuine belief will lead to good actions. Claims of belief is another thing entirely different, the Wise and the Foolish Virgins(believers) if you will. These Foolish ones follow many captains and really dont know or follow the One and Only Captain which is Christ Jesus our Lord who taught us and demonstrated to all on how to live; love God and love your neighbor as you would have them love you.

The Foolish believers love to focus on the 'dill and the mint'. Stupidity like the dill and mint of how bible prophecy will occur, I hope this point is sharp and clear. They do this because they dont have the real thing, the weightier aspects of the instructions given to all. Magic tricks to get their eyes off the True and Faithful aspects of the Son of God. Focus! focus! on the locus* the place outside the Focus! Locus is a Latin word for place. Dont get discouraged, the emphasis is knowing the reality of God and not about the pieces of the puzzle that most of you know as prophecy. They are just that; pieces. The prophecies are meant to be a secret with only some of the pieces to be revealed. We will fully understand after the mysteries are revealed at their own time. But its not about that is it? Its about not being distracted from your pure and simple faith in Christ and giving Him the attention that we need to give Him. Oh! not for His sake but for ours. He is our Shepherd at least He is suppose to be. The Coach the Captain will lead you only if you listen to Him-quiet contemplation, i.e. prayer? Partly, the other part is making your needs and concerns known to Him. How else will you spark a conversation with God? :) Want His attention? Start the process with prayer. Remember prayer is a two way street. God doesnt talk to Himself nor should you when you pray. He hears you but are you hearing Him? You should be able to hear Him, well! communicate, He is spirit you know not just flesh and bone. Now in regards to Jesus He did take a body of flesh and bones and He most certainly understands our difficulties in life clothed with flesh. Our High Priest the Mediator between the Father who is spirit and us spirit and flesh and bones. You dont need to break mysteries to know God. You could use your energies to learn about and know God Himself. Its no effort really it should be a natural dependance on God. You know! Trust and faith, in God. It is reassuring to know that God exists and cares for us and knows all about us. You cant have a living faith reality if you are the lone person in a relationship-nonsense isnt it?

For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their supplication; but the face of the Lord is set against evil-doers." --- Dont stumble because of old words like holiness. Holiness is not a thing or an attainment. Who fooled you? All it means is being good to each other for God is good and is good to all of us. Dont waste your time straining at gnats and swallowing camels-irony isnt it? Focus, Focus, not on the gnats or the camels but on your living faith in God. Or you can say walking with God in faith or by faith-fellowship. Hey! Thats what friends do and are for and Jesus calls us friends if we abide with Him, you know! get along with Him by honoring His loving ways.

Pictures ignite memories. Pictures can clean the false impressions that we have. Pictures can light the candle of your heart. Pictures can reconnect the flame of your heart withe the flame of their heart, those ones separated from distance and time. Prayer is a camera that takes pictures of the Eternal that does not fade. Yes our memories do fail and thats when we look for the pictures that captures time in an image. Take pictures of what is most important you. We all need reminders, 'pictures of You'.
