There's is a broad misconception in a large segment of Christianity that if one has struggles with habits(such as smoking cigarettes (for an example) or struggles with cravings of various sorts then one is not walking in the spirit. Thats just not true. Its a straw-man that was sown by the Tares in Sheep's clothing. Walking in the spirit or if you like walking in the Spirit is the pursuit of goodness. All of the Apostles struggled with one form of inconsistency or of another. And they humbly admitted as such unlike these show boaters or boasters of today on how holy or how spiritual or how gifted they are. Pursuing what is good and kind and loving will help you greatly in alleviating your natural and unnatural inconsistencies.--- Semantics to interfere with the development and elevation of souls on earth is a great offense to Heaven. Do not be found in this.

Jesus simplified the 'walking in the spirit' that has so many mystified . Love God-which would be learning about God, humility. Once you get to know God and His loving nature you will be able to express your knowledge of God toward all of His creation which includes your fellow man. Garbage in garbage out. Ignorance in ignorance out. In the day of reckoning do you want to stand before the Almighty and explain yourself... Explain what?..Yeah I thought so! It is not good and right to remain in ignorance. Just because you 'think' so doesn't make it OK. But should God expect any better from the 'Sleepers'? Yes He does and we will all be held accountable for all our actions and deeds the good the bad and the ugly. The ugly being willful ignorance and promoting such ignorance. View it as a joke and you will be made a fool by default. No one wants to be a fool unless...unless a fool doesn't know any better. If you go inward it will take you outward and you will find the freedom your looking for.
