I had a really real-feeling dream about a solar flare :/

Thank you so much for this psychic dream. First, I live a few hours from Duluth... a friend of mine had a psychic dream about 12 years ago+ of the city of Minneapolis destroyed instantly as if by fire.

Anyway, I am wondering if money will have any meaning in a survivalist world myself, given the potential for solar flares to seriously wreak havoc on planet Earth.

Can you tell us more about what you were thinking and feeling/perceiving during your dream? Often there are basic events, but if we dig deeper we will realize that there were thoughts and meta-thoughts that might shed some light on times, dates, and meanings.

Do you believe this will happen? Soon?

Yikes! I live in uptown, Minneapolis - I went to college at University of MN, Duluth and still have a college friend who lives there.

The friend had the dream 12 years ago...did they say when they thought it would happen? This Minneapolis thing has me weirded out - for obvious reasons.

As to what I was feeling, I felt very rushed and not coordinated. (I'm a big planner so that's not normal for me) I guess it means there wasn't much warning? (My cat and boyfriend were not with me.) Especially to be away from home with strangers. As to the timing, it can't be far off b/c my ex employee's/friends face looks the same - she's in her early 40's and still had a tan in the dream. (fake baking may explain the tan but not the lack of change in face appearance and hair style) It wasn't cold - no one had jackets. Guys were wearing long-sleeved flannels. Fall maybe?

I've never had a prophetic dream before - but I had been visited by a deceased relative in a dream. I remember when I was 9 seeing her photo in an old photo album of my grandmas and asking who she was/when we met. She told me she had died before I was born. Recently I told my decade-older sister about the dream and she got really upset. I should explain, in the dream, I was in an all-white hospital hallway holding my mother and fathers hands and getting anxious and I started bouncing around and tracing my hand on the support bars on the wall. I had to have been like 3-4 yrs old b/c I had to reach up to touch the bar. I remember seeing the relative in her room and she pulled me to her bedside and gave me the same expression my own grandmother had given me on her deathbed. The look was apologetic - she was making piece with me over some guilt she had been holding on to with me. Same exact look.

Anyhow I told my sister and she started crying and told me that was her memory with the relative. I know it sounds crazy but she had her pic taken at the hospital to prove it had happened. And she was kinda ADD jumping all over the place when she was little and I was always quiet and shy - so it wasn't like me. Also, my parents divorced when I was young so seeing them on both sides of me wasn't right as they hadn't spoken in 20 years. I just wish I could remember what she was telling me in the dream. I do believe that this stuff is real though. The dreams like this, that burn the details in your mind are not normal.

I don't really follow the solar flares stuff. I'm much more interested in biblical end times stuff. Not on my mind 24/7 as you say... But I did have an Optometrist's front desk girl randomly talk about the dangers of solar flares when I paid my bill in cash. She said its best we all have cash b/c the banks wont be open when the SHTF with solar flares. Kinda bizarre to mention the a total stranger, right? That was 6-7 weeks ago. Last time it crossed my mind. Sorry to disappoint you.

also, sorry for any typo's like the word had/hand and piece/peace. I'm a little nervous and not perfect. I know how crazy some GLPers get over that stuff.

Another person talking about the importance of clocks in her dream about a big solar flare. Ok, if the grid was really taken down wouldn't the clock go down too? Why would we be relying on anything electrical at all?

Ive been dreaming about tropico 4 a lot lately.. not surprising considering i play the game at night before i go to sleep.

Well, I certainly believe you do have psychic dreams, and you may have more psychic ability than you give yourself credit for. People don't often explore it because rational thinking doesn't allow for these anomalies. The story about your grandmother is interesting. :)

Anyway, that said, I wouldn't worry too much about my friend's dream about Minneapolis, because he never was sure how to interpret it himself. Part of it was him seeing the city just "instantly" destroyed. Instantly by fire or something like it. The spirits of people living in the city were flying in the sky, raptured or something.

He wasn't sure if it was a nuclear explosion, etc. But he never knew a date or time, but came to believe the images were more symbolic than literal when I asked him.

He's gay. So am I. I have a belief that gay people are more psychically in tune for some reason. Don't ask me why, but it's a pretty consistent observation.

That said, I have been a bit worried about the solar flares. I haven't been worried to the point of thinking the city will be destroyed, but it's scary to think that these flares conservatively could knock out all our power and satellites, let alone punch a hole in the magnetosphere and cause firestorms and widespread crop failure/drought like the people here are predicting.

LOL- :) You don't strike me as an old man, no. :P But then, MY psychic intuition could be totally off-base.

I figure this scripture just means that all people will prophecy in the "last days." How do you interpret it?

I hope I'm wrong to be honest. But I, and many other ppl it seems, cant shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen.

Im hoping its just the subconscious mind f*ck. We shall see...

Wow thats werid in my dream I must have came in after you folks staring at the clock. When we showed up everyone was gone like I said in my first post here( Riding the Solar Flare charged dream) any ways it felt panic in there. the smell of many people for days in a dank damp dark and tight place. But the question is Where did you all go? Im searching in my dreams on foot. Gas is gold. Cars are obvious. Food and water is life. you left everything behind. why?

It might mean "cash" is useless in case a solar flare blows up the computers that mantain accounting records. It would trigger a Mad Max, and in that case survival kits such as:

- Ammo
- Gasoline
- Electric generators
- Canned foods
- Gold and silver to be used as currency

Would be way more useful than cash...

Depends on what you interpret as "old", because that's way too relative to personality. Maybe as "world-weary".
