If there HAD been someone with a gun, and they HAD stopped someone in the exact same scenario (gas mask, helmet, body armor, etc...) the media would have been through with the story the next day. In fact, it might have only been local news.

I guess this is posted in regards to Aurora and similar recent incidents in the States with implications on possible 2nd amendment changes.

Folks, the kind of things like these happen almost daily in my county of 7 million. I think this kind of incidents are quite normal in a country of 300 millions as well. It's not about wild west, it's about how easy it is for psycho to get publicity (300 million audit!).

Ya know, a couple weeks ago we have a senior citizen use a gun to fend off a couple of thugs then days later the Colorado shooting happened, which knocked the pro gun story out of the news for an anti-gun story.

If this story makes it to MSM, expect another crazy gun carrying nut job shooting to occur.
