They don't understand or even wish to believe in the higher things. It is because if they did believe in the higher things of human nature they would have to have a light. And if they had a light they would have to look at those evil deeds that are in them. They would have no choice to hide from the evil within them, that evil that they use to eat away at mens souls. That evil that they welcomed into themselves to feast upon their crusty soul in their own quest lust for powers. i have seen their darkness. I have tasted their pain and fears.
