OP, why don't you do an experiment to satisfy the question of whether or not the water level would go down or up after the ice melts?

Create the same conditions that there was with the first glass--the same glass, amount of water and ice, placed in the same place, and with the same temperature conditions. Then, instead of walking away leaving the glass unobserved, sit and watch.

Personally, I think the ice was displacing the water level, and I also don't think it's possible for a disembodied human spirit to drink water.

With that said, like you, I have noticed the increase in the presence of those passed this year. I've heard my name called, seen them...lol, and just the other day I heard knocking coming from my armoire, just like someone was in there knocking on the door.

Do the experiment, and then you'll know for sure, okay?

can't tell you the answer,all i know is there is something very wrong about our reality. one of the odd "ghosty" things thats happened quite often to me,others,even read it on here too from someone,just sitting on sofa watching tv,and,splash,a large drop of water falls on me,without fail,i think there must be a fly who pees,or condensation on ceiling,or something.never found an answer to it,or read one from poster here.

i did last night, the ice was still there half an hour later and the water level was the same. i didnt watch it tho, but my door was closed again

Watching Local Haunts in Jacksonville, Fl the ghosts that they speak to often are found in bathrooms. Perhaps the spirits may gain strength from water.

After the death of my brother many unusual things are going on around me. One involved water.

Friend, ice melting will decrease the content in glass than increase it. It is a simple physical phenomenon. Read back high school book on density. Ice has less density than water, water has highest density at around 4 degree. So melting of ice would decrease the content in glass.

That uses logic. Logic isn't allowed at GLP.
