Do you think it could be culturally related? Since we have a melting pot type society, maybe this leads to a new type of isolation, where everyone is 'equal' but no one has their own cultural wisdom to follow anymore? Even though we have so many great cultures coming together, we have also lost a great deal of heritage and are all somewhat isolated due also to technology and loss of the family unit. Could it be that with the homogenizing of so many cultures, we have lost knowledge of how to feed ourselves? |
