UFO, Blimp or CGI at the Olympics.. comparing with images and poll

A Blimp would not be allowed that close to the fireworks,,,People, THINK!!!!!!! remember the Hindenburg... Fire and a Blimp does not make a good combination.....Their is no way that was a blimp...

2 things though...it may look close but could be several hundreds or more feet from the fireworks and two, they don't use the same gas/oxygen mixture that was highly cumbustable as the Hindenburg.

There was a no fly zone enforced. Plus if you go to goodyear blimp's website, you can track the blimp, which was nowhere near the stadium at the time of the opening ceremony. Nothing was supposed to be in the airspace during the ceremony.

I agree with the blimp vs fireworks statement but I don't think it's anywhere near the fireworks, It's definitely behind the twisted metal pile of crap, and it looks like its on the far side of the stadium

On the build up to the Olympics this week on the BBC news you could see a blimp in the background numerous times

So that's why I'm saying blimp

Not every blimp is a Goodyear one :) also wouldn't the no fly zone exclude media helicopters etc. otherwise how did they get the shots of the fireworks outside of the stadium

100% blimp - seen it with my own eyes in real life also through binoculars because from a distance it looked disc shaped - but sadly in the end turned out to be a well lit blimp, also it was not directly over the top of the stadium.

Notice how the goodyear blimp was blue/white and lighting up white the object was metallic looking!

The first image is a high quality image with detail where as the second image is a low quality video from what seems like a camera phone which has been digitally zoomed in so you lose a lot of detail

I'm going to reserve judgment on this one. I have seen many ufo's, several daytime sightings, one landing etc,. and I must say they are a real phenomena.

But this footage does appear to be very similar to a blimp when compared to the other photo.

It flies right over the fireworks and I don't think a blimp would risk that close a distance to explosives.

It also does not look like a blimp.

I want to believe it is a UFO, but it does slightly resemble a blimp.

Although, why it would be flying that close to the fireworks is beyond me. Fire + blimp = boom. And, on top of that, there a no-fly zone, so why was it up there period? Hell, if the governments are concerned about terrorists blowing everyone up, who says the guys flying the blimp weren't with them? Seems like a big "oops" on the part of the military. Good job on setting up all those expensive missile defenses systems to...not use them. What was the point again? "Oh, it's okay, we'll just let THAT one fly over. It's cool, we know them." Also, isn't there usually, but not always, a blimp camera-view, like when they fly over football games? Taking aerial photographs, something. Where's the footage if it's a blimp? Just a thought.

Back to topic, is there video anywhere taken after the fireworks ceremony, or other angles? Did it "zip off" or just continue to hover & circle the entire time? If it hovered, it's probably a blimp.

More people may have noticed it, if not for the sky being full of debris from the explosions. Reminds me of chemtrails.
