Re: Americans from a Dutch perspective
Hi all Yankees,

What is it with Americans that they (and their family) voluntarily pass through a Body, correction: nakedscanner on command and get groped by some perverse TSA employee?
Amazing anyone could let that happen to him or her.
We, the Dutch, would never allow that and sue the whole thing or beat up the pervert(s)

What is it with Americans that the majority still believes he(or she) lives in a free country?

What is it with Americans that they eat too much hamburgers and complain they are fat?

What is it with Americans that they allow laws pass that prohibits smoking in for instance, Central Park?
We, the Dutch, smoke where ever we want.

What is it with Americans that the majority still believes the official 911 lie and get fooled that Bin Laden and his cavemen were the perpetrators?

Just wondering.
 Quoting: HenryHolland

Aha I'm literally dying laughing right now.

So let me get this straight...

America, the massive country the size of the European continent, can be instantly generalized by some socialist schmuck from across the pond?

HAHA! Good one!

Way to generalize the whole country based on the most liberal, least free states...

FAIL.

You should probably talk to some Americans more often... most, contrary to your BULLSHIT, question the official story and do indeed realize that there was some kind of cover up/ulterior motive.

What's wrong? Just because it's a foreign guy you people got all mad?

Even your own selfs admit that America is a fucked up place, so what's the difference that being said by a foreigner?

A "second language" is one that is not your mother tongue or the language you learned first to speak. That would be English for the majority of us here.

We also try to learn as much as possible from other cultures. So much so there are over 10 million of us abroad at any given time.

Just because we are not enthrall to europe, dont' take it personally. For example, I prefer Rio to anything europe has ever shown me but that's just me.

Maybe you shouldn't stereotype us quite so much.

I have Dutch ancestry and a Dutch name and I know what you mean. What the hell has gotten into them?

For one thing as with my DIL, I suppose it is hard to imagine a place this large. A country of 17 million in such a small area is going to be fairly uniform. Not so one of this size and about 330 million.

Point being we are not all as alike as the Dutch would be. Regional differences and so forth.
 Quoting: Bluebird

I don't know what's going on but this is the main reason why I registered a while ago. In order to prevent getting lumped together with a bunch of douche nozzles. I figured it might help if I would continue to post using an alias. Not sure if it does though.

And I am fully aware of the differences. I have worked with Americans on a daily basis for about 1/3rd of my career, and if it wasn't for the ability to have audio/video conferences for virtually free, I would probably live there as well.

This might be redundant but I want to highlight that which makes us fairly uniform is the way we are governed. Apart from that, if you would drive only 50KM in whichever direction, you would meet people with completely different attitudes, habits, political affiliations, etc. We might not be that alike as you would figure considering the size of this country.

OP. Because most Americans, unlike myself, are a bunch of self loathing retarded fat fucks who do still believe they are free because they have so many fast food restaurant choices. And just FYI, we CANT smoke anywhere... e.g. trains? busses? stores? cafetaria? supermarkets? train stations? cinema's? restaurants? bars?
The only place you can smoke a cigarette is either in the street or in your home, all public places have banned smoking.

Please replace the words "We, the Dutch" with "Me, the retarded OP" that would make this a tad more accurate and representative.
