It's NOT enhancing the site or even giving us fun fodder to play with. It's always just in-your-face annoying. If it weren't for a few threads, I just wouldn't come here. But they are even on those threads. I mean look at this, a quintessentially perfect GLP post, not controversial and something intereesting to all of us, and there's an Aussie: vomiting and crapping all over everything and screaming and crying like a baby. Why? Why do we have to endure this? I'll tell you one thing, I AM judging Australia by what I see on here. I never never never want to meet anyone from there and I am hoping it sinks underwater. That isn't very nice at all. Yes there are some dicks on here from Aus but there are also plenty of dicks from other countries. Judging them as a whole from a few is downright ignorant. |

Much like humans, birds dress down for bed and perhaps the "decomposition" you think you are seeing are the birds after they have removed some feathers or "gotten ready for bed". |

UK is right, it's a few damn birds and empty beaches at 4pm, living near beaches I KNOW it isn't unusual to see them empty at 4pm. I can't believe there is a place in this country, with the summer we've had, that has empty beaches at 4:00 during the summer. Must be a VERY strange area. On a side note, I'm going to start taking pictures of my area. The boarded up/closed businesses make me sick. Things we knew for 50 years, just boarded up left empty. Our entire world has changed, OURS, my families, because of this tyrranical President. I don't think there is ANY aspect of our lives that has not been effected. It is staggering. OP showed photo's of one beach, you only have his say so on the other beaches. Knowing OP's past posting history I am inclined to be cautious in believing him. hmmm. You would probably say the same thing about me. So no need to take pics and post my story right? |

Omg, so there's the contamination from radiation, the poisons from that, and now they're spraying (who knows what!) on top of that . . . and "bag it and leave it"?!! Are they kidding with that? Your post is well stated and should get some attention. Thanks. To be honest...it's a bit overwhelming to try and even conceive where to start, what to do, or how to handle what's happening. I suppose for right now, do what the locals there are doing...stay away. We should have thought about that many decades ago before we started terrorizing the world.. saved User ID: 20841459 United States 07/30/2012 10:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There seems to be a lot known by the tour guide that led a short cruise to an island in the Puget Sound. He said there are a couple pods of Orcas, killer whales, that live in the Puget Sound. Apparently, according to testing done by the fisheries up there, those Orcas are the most toxic animals on earth. Their number one food source is the salmon that run through the sound and the Pacific Ocean from Alaska to Oregon. The Orcas live in the Sound but have not been seen this year. This may be due to something in the environment or it could be that the salmon are massing somewhere else this year and therefore they're feeding somewhere else. No matter what, the seas are changing...and it doesn't appear to be for the better. Quoting: Idgits Thanks for posting this OP, my wife and i will be in san diego in 2 weeks. I think your best description was calling this an "event". It is just beginning radiation is something that takes time to wear things down, even in humans it isnt immediate. |

This earthquake follows three (3) weeks after the June 19, 2012 report: "M5.2 - 2012-06-19 13:40:57 UTC" [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] . This new quake is a report of a 4.6 earthquake on the Richter scale located 251 km (156 miles) also due west of Bandon, Oregon (the southern coast of Oregon). This is in-fact the exact same area where the volcano is expected to 'pop' off & trigger the subsequent earthquake, the 'cosmic event', I have spoken of. Now look at this link, a U.S map of "smoke" beginning in the exact same undersea region off of the southern coast of Oregon: [link to projectavalon.net] Smoke? Coincidence? No. Not smoke. Lava vents from the ocean floor releasing their molten lava, and more relevant, release of volcanic gases into the atmosphere. Look for next quake event to potentially happen in this area in another 3 weeks or so. [see: July 29th quake below]" [link to andromedacouncil.com] |

And there is nothing to prevent something highly radioactive from eventually washing ashore. Heya Bluebird... Its only going to get worse im afraid, and i wouldnt only be worried about things washing ashore being radiated...we are all being radiated as we speak. And it is nt only FUKU's fault. Decades of nuclear testing, contamination issues and such, have given us all a bad case of 'the rads'. These rads may not effect our generation, but it will be 2 or 3 generations from now that will pay for our mistakes... the other issue that could have led to these deaths though, is geothermal gases being released from underwater eruptions. These gases could have destroyed the Muscles, killed the birds, and who knows what else...the other point is that some of these birds look like they have been dead for quite some time, others more recently. Thanks for this post Idgits, a truely heart-felt and concerning post mate, appreciate it. Peace "Luck is what happens when preparation meets Oppurtunity"-- Seneca (5BC-65AD) |

Foam from ocean algae bloom killing thousands of birds Oregon Coast Notes - News Just so you know what it is....A slimy foam churning up from the ocean has killed thousands seabirds and washed many others ashore, stripped of their waterproofing and struggling for life. The birds have been clobbered by an unusual algae bloom stretching from the northern Oregon coast to the tip of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. "This is huge," said Julia Parrish, a marine biologist and professor at the University of Washington who leads a seabird monitoring group. "It's the largest mortality event of its kind on the West Coast that we know of." The culprit is a single-cell algae or phytoplankton called Akashiwo sanguinea. Though the algae has multiplied off the coast of California before, killing hundreds of seabirds, the phenomenon has not been seen in Oregon and Washington and has never occurred on the West Coast to this extent, Parrish said.
