A&E's "Storage Wars" is FAKE!

Haven't watched House Hunters since I found out that was a fake. The people on the show have already bought a house and HGTV comes up with two other houses for them to look at.

Amazing how they always win two units at every auction they go to.

i love the show. and of course its fake. its obvious but i dont dwell that its fake. its a good show, although some episodes are just plain boring to me.

brandi's gotten a lot pretty from the 1st season.

It has to be fake when a guy like Darrell Sheets, who lives in Oceanside, is willing to drive to those far away auction sites in that beast of a truck he drives.

Two weeks ago Barry Weiss came to Industry Speedway and he was drunk all night, shook every hand in the joint. Nice fella.

but seriously, my mother bids on these things for a living here in DFW, and storage wars came out to the area and she was one of the top 5 contestants. She ended up dropping out because she didn't really like the producers, and told me she didn't really care though, because she found out it's all staged. the units they are bidding on aren't even the units they are showing. Pay attention to the position of the sun ;)

The show follows professional buyers who purchase the contents based only on a five-minute inspection and what they can see only from the door when it is opened. The goal is to turn a profit on the merchandise.

Great concept, and the show is entertaining, the only problem being the show is completely fake. And I mean 100% phony...as for Brandi's breasts, the jury's still out on that one.

Personally, I suspect they're real and they're spectacular!

The show was started by Dan Dotson and his wife, Laura. Dan and Laura Dotson appear in every episode as the auctioneer and his wife. Dan has been been playing this role for nearly 40 years and is the owner of American Auctioneers.

Dan Dotson paid Dave Hester, Darrell Sheets, Barry Weiss, Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante $12,000 each for 6 episodes of Storage Wars in 2010. Of course these salaries are about 20X higher now and all the fake money they don't make each episode is peanuts to the real money A&E shells out.

This is where the reality ends and the fantasy begins.
