is my girlfriend mentally ill? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 405769 United States 07/30/2012 01:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wouldn't come on GLP and ask advice like that. This is GLP where you will get ripped to shreds over this post. You sound very young and she is probably young therefore everything is a big deal especially a dream in her mind. It doesn't mean anything unless she is looking for an excuse to break up and using the "dreams" as a way to do it. good luck but no mental illness here. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 554016 United States 07/30/2012 01:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ABC says 23% of women have a mentally disorder. [link to abcnews.go.com] If she is under the age of 25, that number is about doubled. So that being said probably a 50/50. If you suspect something, then she probably is. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 828694 United States 07/30/2012 01:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If she keeps asking to break up over little things, even though it hurts to do it and you love her, break up with her now. You need to have someone in your life willing to stick with you and if a dream can set her off, she isn't the right kind of person for you. In the long run though, it might be best for both of you, so be a man (Or if you're a woman with a girlfriend... Um, be the bigger person?) and let her go. Do it as gently as you can, and don't look back. Good luck. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 20373336 United States 07/30/2012 08:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ok, so , for countless times, my girlfriend wanted to break our relationship because she had a dream. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20463112 Like, she had a dread we had a big fight and i insulted her, and in the next day she wanted to break with me and i firsly tought she was joking, but then we had the wole day fighting over that... I love her, and she loves me, but its not the first time this happens, because of a dream, or because minimal stuff... This sounds like some mental illness to me , i want to help her :\ Do you know what it might be? something negative is messing with her emotions and sowing the seeds of suspicion and discontent into her awareness, starting with "the Dream," and doing a good job of tearing the family apart in the process, seemingly seam by seam. they love to manipulate you into a ditch at every possible turn exOrcise it out of her then get some Sun |
