This seems odd. If you were in a documented car crash and have medical records and dr letters and xrays to back it up you should be approved. The fact that you were declined says you are not telling us eveyrone. On the other hand, i heard from a friend that just about everyone gets told no at first, and just about everyone gets approved with an appeal.
You said a spinal injury, what type? Does thiscondition havea name?
All i can say is if you are genuinly disabled you will get it. Just appeal like everyone else does.
I had to go on a disability for a few months. Fibro, and that was not an easy thing to prove. But I can still do some work, just not in management like I used to. So I got a grant to go back to school to retrain for a job I can physically and mentally do.
If you get benefits, great, but dont sit around on them for too long. You are bent, but not broken. find a thing you can do and do it. There are lots of programs out there to help you do that.
