BREAKING: Ron Paul campaign to challenge all Louisiana delegates | |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 15322372 United States 07/30/2012 05:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "We believe that they grossly and blatantly and repeatedly violated their party rules and elected a delegation that was improper," said Paul's campaign chairman Jesse Benton. "We believe that our rump convention is the legitimate delegation and they have a right to be seated at the Republican National Convention." [link to www.katc.com] |

Though doesn't have anything to do with the bringing to light the inside workings of what has normally gone on behind the scenes. The important thing brought forth in this, for any one that is able to vote in the USA is that the rules are not followed. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 15322372 United States 07/30/2012 05:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Aware of the discontent from the Paul campaign, the state party says they contacted the campaign after the convention to settle their differences ahead of the final release. The party says they followed their rules, but the campaign demanded a majority of the delegates allotted to the state, even though their people were not selected for those spots during the convention. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 15322372 United States 07/30/2012 05:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow I've been looking for more articles and this is the only other article regarding communication between the two: And it says: The Ron Paul campaign says the state party has been difficult to communicate with, and even stand-offish. "They've been extremely non-communicative. They gave us a cold shoulder," said Benton. [link to www.policymic.com] |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 15322372 United States 07/30/2012 05:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | From this statement: But executive director of the Republican Party of Louisiana Jason Dore has responded negatively, saying, "This whole this is kind of bizarre. Unless we gave them a majority, they were going to challenge our whole convention regardless." The Republican Party was prepared to award Paul supporters with 17 delegates at the state convention, but Paul supporters refused to participate in the selection process, saying they were deserving of more and insisting on holding their own separate vote. from the second article: [link to www.policymic.com] Makes me wonder if there is video like in the LV convention. Or stats as to what percentage of the people there were for RP. Anyone have any stats facts? |

This is about bringing to light the games that have been going on in politics for decades. On all "sides" so feel free to talk about any instances of voter fraud, dirty politics what have you. So we can research. Rigged voting machines, hanging chads, what have you. Issues in bills that shouldn't be. Have at it peeps! |

But really, if you think about it, it seems that is what they want you to believe and feel. Apathy is the intent. From what I've seen. When people get engaged and votes are hand counted with witnesses the results come out true. This is just what I have gathered from watching things this year and actually being interested the past few years. |

Trust me it ain't apathy. If we really were going to talk politics, then there would be the green party and Gary Johnson being presented to the public just as much as these other clowns. But that will never happen... "a foundation built on lies is always bound to crumble and those who aren't humble shall tumble to the earth" |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 15322372 United States 07/30/2012 08:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You aren't kidding. I have a friend that immigrated from Romania. She was a child before "things changed" there. She remembers sitting with her grandfather on the front steps to the house on his farm. Watching people take his things, the animals too. Then moving them out to a place in the city. She and her mother were placed in a Dr's families home. They were allowed two rooms, the Dr had 3 children and a wife and they had I think three rooms, then there was another man that was moved in too. The Dr was lucky he was able to keep his home even though he had to share it with others. In 2006 she told me she was worried because she had seen what was happening before. She was sad at the change she was seeing here. That really frightened me, and I think that is when I really started paying attention. |

When you hear things like this, the person is frightened at seeing the same things slowly happening in a place they never thought they would see them happen, someone that has been through it before, that is when you have to take notice, and take a closer look. I'm not saying it is going to go as far as it did then, but it had gone far enough in 2006 for someone that had experienced erosion to feel it happening again. |

Quoting: acegotflows I agree its sad and voting is rigged. That's why rp's approach is not the popular vote. Presidents have been elected without popular vote majority. |
